The right to a social benefit in case of loss of income due to pregnancy and childbirth arises from the date of maternity leave indicated in the temporary disability certificate.

You can apply to any branch of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" (PSC) regardless of the place of residence for the purpose of the payment. 

Also, you can apply through the e-government portal egov.kz (hereinafter - portal), if the following information is available in the information systems (hereinafter - IS) of state bodies and organizations:

1) identity card;

2) form of temporary disability due to pregnancy and childbirth;

3) from employers on the recipient's maternity leave;

4) number of a bank account in second-tier banks;

For individual entrepreneurs and persons engaged in private practice, heads of peasant-based and farm enterprises additional information is needed:

1) on state registration with state revenue bodies;

2) according to the statement of the personal account of the taxpayer on the status of settlements with the budget, as well as on social payments, issued by the state revenue authorities.

In the absence of any of the above information in the IS, the portal displays a notification about the need to contact the relevant state body responsible for providing information.
