The International Association of Pension and Social Funds (IAPSF) was established in 1992.
Currently, eleven pension and social funds, institutions and organizations from 9 CIS countries and Georgia are founders of the IAPSF. JSC "State Social Insurance Fund" has been a full member of IAPSF since 2009.
One of the goals of the IAPSF is to organize cooperation between members of the Association internationally, aimed at the protection, promotion and development of social security, protection of their rights and legitimate interests.
The IAPSF's informational activities are driven by its members' interests in social security reforms in various countries, both near and far Members of the IAPSF receive information through the website, which regularly publishes social statistics in the CIS countries, Georgia, the Baltic States, as well as non-CIS countries and the electronic version of the VESTNIK magazine, which covers legal issues of interstate relations in pension and social insurance, labor market problems related to social security, relevant materials on the progress of pension and social reforms.
Together with pension and social funds IAPSF has held annual international conferences on topical social security issues since 1996. More than 40 events (international conferences, seminars, round tables, etc.) have been held in 30 years. These events were attended by representatives of the ISSA, the ILO, the World Bank, other international organizations, heads of pension and social funds and institutions of the CIS countries, Georgia, the Baltic States and others. The presented materials allow to exchange experience and help in solving the issues of pensions and social insurance.
In 2016, the IAPSF was included in the Advisory Committee on Social Security, Pension Rights, Medical Care and Professional Activity of Workers of the Eurasian Economic Union member states under the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, which gives the IAPSF representatives the opportunity to participate in working meetings, meetings and other activities of the Committee.
IAPSF cooperates with a number of organizations, such as the Eurasian Economic Commission, the International Social Security Association, the General Confederation of Trade Unions, the self-regulatory organization National Association of Non-State Pension Funds, etc.
The highest governing body of the Association is the General Meeting of Association members. The executive body of the Association is the Directorate.
